Welcome to Marseilles Masonic Lodge 417
Welcome to our new website!
With technology advancing so rapidly, we decided to take advantage of it and design a website that would better serve the Lodge and its Guests. Now we have the capabilities to easily assign the updating of the calendar and news, newsletters and reminders of events, to anyone that can write an email. We now can post information to the website for only members to see and many other fantastic things so please look around and stop back soon as many things will be added in the ensuing month.

Upcoming Degree Work!
Gentlemen!
Our Lodge has quite a bit of upcoming degree work planned for the near future. The special meeting on May 20th will showcase a Second Degree. June might potentially see a First, a Second, and a Third Degree being presented! Streator Lodge has asked if we want to co-sponsor an outdoor Third Degree for several candidates, and we will happily participate with them in an exciting night.
It is always exhilarating to have so much degree work going on, and we are fortunate to have a lot of accomplished Brethren to put on dignified and solemn Degrees, so attend a meeting and watch them perform. Or better yet, learn a part and participate in our ritual work!

A Change in Our Meetings!
The Lodge has changed it's meeting format from two stated meetings per month, to one stated meeting (on the first Tuesday) and one special meeting ( on the third Tuesday).
This will allow more flexibility in what can be accomplished during the special meeting, and hopefully make meetings more interesting to attend!
So far the new format seems to be well accepted!
